Meter reading can be very simple
Meter modules can usually be used to implement the appropriate communication solution as required, for retrofitting or pre-assembled and integrated into the meters. The meter modules are suitable for heat and electricity meters. They are used in combination with a specific meter type to collect and deliver data in structured meter data reports to a receiving system or to enable a meter to communicate via M-Bus/Wireless M-Bus.

Counter modules, gateways & receivers
The CMi6110 Retrofit is an integrated communication module that mounts in a Landis+Gyr UH50 heat meter/UC50 calculator to send meter data to a receiver via an NB-IoT network.
The product is easy to configure via a mobile app or DM system, has several different message formats and is ideal for applications where long range is required. Meter data delivery and device management use standard protocols such as MQTT-SN and LWM2M for easy integration into existing systems.
LoRaWAN is one of the communication technologies in IoT that will meet the growing demand for high energy efficiency and long range.
The CMi4160 is mounted in a Diehl Metering SHARKY 775 and delivers meter data to a receiving server via a LoRaWAN network. The product has a battery life of 11 years, is energy efficient, has a long communication range and can be easily retrofitted into an already installed meter.

The CMeX50 is a Wireless M-Bus receiver that allows a gateway to communicate with Wireless M-Bus meters.
The wireless M-Bus receiver CMeX50 can be easily integrated into an existing M-Bus solution or used together with Elvaco CMe series products.
It communicates with up to 800 wireless M-Bus meters, each of which can be secured by individual keys. The CMeX50 also has an integrated M-Bus master that can control up to 32 wired M-Bus meters. The number can be expanded as the product is equipped with an IR interface that allows easy connection to other CMe/CMeX products without having to use cables.
The CMe2100 is an M-Bus metering gateway for mobile networks with automatic fallback that reads up to 256 meters, compiles the meter data into customized reports and delivers them to a receiving system. It communicates with Elvaco CMe/CMeX series devices and the ABB electricity meter via an IR interface. The CMe2100 LTE is compatible with all meters that work with M-Bus. The product is configured and updated via SMS or HTTP.
Note: The CMe2100 LTE can control up to 16 device loads as standard (where one load equals 1.5 mA) and has a software limit of up to 256 meters (depending on the software licence). Our sales department will advise you on the selection of the appropriate software licence and extension of the device loads.
